Abstract

The unsymmetrical angular distribution of electrons with energy losses of 6.3 eV with Al and 3.6 eV with Ag due to the excitation of surface plasma oscillations is investigated on inclined foils of Al and Ag. The results agree with the theory given byStern andFerrell.
