Vergleichsmessung totaler Alkali-Edelgas-Querschnitte

Comparison measurements of total alkaliatom-rare gas cross sections

Abstract

Total scattering cross sections of Na and Cs on Ar and Kr and of Rb on Kr have been measured relative to the corresponding K cross sections by a fast direct comparison technique. From the data ratios of van der Waals constants are derived, which show good agreement with recently published semiempirical values.
