Abstract
The fluctuations of the number of particles in a subvolumeΩ′≦Ω in the superconducting state are investigated in the framework of the strong coupling limit of the BCS-theory. It is shown for values ofΩ′≪Ω these fluctuations are proportional to the subvolumeΩ′ and agree for theseΩ′-values with the density fluctuations of the quasivacuum state.
