Über die Temperaturabhängigkeit der Lichtabsorption durch Excitonen

Abstract

The temperature dependence of the absorption of light by excitons is considered. The eigenfunctions of the excitons are those of the vibrating crystal, introduced byTjablikow, Lee, Low, andPines a. o. The model can only be used if the coupling between excitons and crystal vibrations is week. The results are expressions for the production of excitons and simultaneous absorption or emission of phonons.
