Einheitliche statistische Behandlung der Valenzelektronen in Metallen

Zusammenfassung

Durch getrennte statistische Behandlung von Valenz- und Rumpfelektronen unter Beibehaltung des üblichen statistischen Energieausdrucks wird die bei hohen Drucken bekannte Druck-Dichte-Beziehung des Aluminiums bis zum Druck Null ausgedehnt. Dabei braucht der Bahhdrehimpuls der Valenzelektronen im freien Atom nicht explizit berücksichtigt zu werden. Das Verfahren ist für alle Metalle anwendbar, deren geringste Elektronendichte ein Vielfaches derjenigen der Alkalimetalle beträgt.
