Chemistry of Natural Compounds Aims and scope

Abstract

The results of an investigation of new alkaloids from plants of the Oxytropis genus are generalized, the most common properties of alkaloids of the 2(ß) phenylethylamine series and possible routes for their biosynthetic formation are discussed, and material is presented on the structural study of the new alkaloid trichophysine and on the synthesis of (±)-oxytryphine and of trichophysine.
