Das Gynözeum der Bignoniaceen I. Über den Bau des Fruchtknotens vonKigelia (Crescentieae)

Zusammenfassung

Neben einer Beschreibung des Fruchtknotenbaues und der Anordnung der Bündel in der Scheidewand vonKigelia pinnata, africana, madagascariensis undaethiopum wird vor allem auf die unrichtige Wiedergabe des inneren Baues des Fruchtknotens in der Literatur hingewiesen. Der völlig zweifächerigeKigelia-Fruchtknoten wird nämlich von den meisten Systematikern (Seemann, Bentham etHooker, Baillon, Schumann, Sprague, Wood, Thonner, Van Steenis, Hutchinson andDalziel, Marloth, Bailey, Phillips, Andrews, Dale andGreenway, White, Breitenbach) als einfächerig bezeichnet. Die richtige Angabe findet sich nur vereinzelt, aber zum Teil schon bei alten Autoren (Fenzl, Decaisne, Bureau, Miers, Hiern, Rao).
