Zusammenfassung

Die GattungPodohedra umfaßt mindestens vier Arten,P. distincta wird neu beschrieben, die Diagnosen der anderen Arten werden ergänzt. Die taxonomischen Merkmale wurden an Kulturen überprüft. Der Bau des Pyrenoids bietet ein brauchbares zusätzliches diagnostisches Merkmal.
