    Ein Weg zur Darstellung von 5,7-Brom-o-Oxychinolin wird angegeben, der sich durch gute Ausbeute und Reinheit des erhaltenen Produktes auszeichnet.

  2. 2.

    Die Fällungsbedingungen für die quantitative Kupferbestimmung mit Hilfe von 5,7-Brom-o-Oxychinolin werden erprobt und mitgeteilt.

  3. 3.

    Die Möglichkeit der Anwendung des Verfahrens auch bei stark verunreinigten Lösungen, z. B. Abwässern, wird bewiesen.
