Zusammenfassung
Mit einer lichtstarken Apparatur wurde der zwischen (H β)=4861Å.-E. und dem ultravioletten Ende des Spektrums liegende Teil des Molekülspektrums des Wasserstoffs mit dem großen Rowlandschen Konkavgitter des Bonner Instituts bei einer Dispersion von 1,98 Å.-E. auf 1 mm photographiert und 3667 Linien in diesem Gebiet mit einem berechneten wahrscheinlichen Fehler von ±0,0035 Å.-E. für die intensiveren und etwa doppeltem Fehler für die schwachen Linien gemessen. Über 2000 Linien wurden hierbei zum ersten Male gemessen. Auf Grund des eigenartigen Intensitätsverhaltens der Linien bei wechselnden Anregungsbedingungen gelingt es, 1052 Linien in drei Klassen einzuordnen, wodurch besonders zwei in allen Fällen sich physikalisch entgegengesetzt verhaltende Linien-gruppen hervortreten.
