Abstract
The energy distribution of 1 MeV electrons scattered at 30° by Al, Cu and Ag is measured in the region of electron-electron scattering. The broadening of the distribution by the internal motion of the atomic electrons and by multiple scattering is investigated, especially in comparison with the energy loss by bremsstrahlung.
