Auflösungsgrenze des elektrostatischen Energie-Analysators und hochauflösende Elektronen-Spektrometrie

Abstract

Using an electrostatic analyzer-lens as a monochromator the energy-widthΔE of the thermionically emitted electrons was significantly reduced to 10 meV at 10 keV primary energy. According to theoretical conclusions there results a dependence ofΔE with primary energyE asE 3/2.

The arrangement was used for investigations of energy-loss-spectra of solids (Al and Ag) and gases (Ar).
