Comments on the study of the Zeeman effect in SmI

Abstract

Some recent results on the Zeeman effect in SmI byHeilig et al. are discussed. Using a theoretical analysis of the spectrum of SmI byRacah andGaniel, it is found that some changes in the level assignments are justified.
