The electrical resistivity of liquid Cu1−x Ga x -alloys

  • Published:
Zeitschrift für Physik B Condensed Matter

Abstract

The electrical resistivity of liquid copper-gallium-alloys has been determined by an AC-as well as by a DC-method. The resistivity has its maximum at a gallium-concentration of 35%, and the temperature coefficient of the resistivity becomes minimal at this concentration. Within the Faber-Ziman-theory this behaviour can be qualitatively understood.
