A note on the structure of the 1518 keV isomeric state in174Yb

Abstract

Studies of the decay of174Tm and174mLu show that, in both cases, a level at 1517.6±0.8 keV in174Yb is populated, which decays to the 4+, 6+ and 8+ members of the g.s. rotational band.
