Abstract
Within the framework of relativistic semiclassical electrodynamics (RSCED), we consider the contributions quadratic in ħ, associated with the electron's magnetic moment, to the synchrotron radiation (SR) power. The time of radiative self-polarization of electrons is calculated, and it is shown that the anomalous magnetic moment promotes the ordering of spins in the process of radiation.
