Double congenital midesophageal webs in adults

Abstract

Congenital esophageal strictures are rare and nearly always diagnosed in young children. Three adults with long histories of dysphagia had double midesophageal webs which we assume were congenital. In two, the radiogrphic findings were quite subtle. Dilatation gave symptomatic relief.
