Abstract
The compound US is studied by a non-magnetic self-consistent fully relativistic band structure technique based on the formalism of the Korringa-Kohn-Rostocker method and on the local-density fit of Hedin and Lundqvist. In addition to the band structure results one-dimensional densities-of-states along the [100], [110] and [111] direction in reciprocal space are presented. These quantities should be comparable to measurements applying the angular resolved photoemission.
