Abstract
An extension of the Argyres-Kelley projector is presented, which allows a separate description of the dynamics of coupled systems and their correlations. A factorization Ansatz is introduced in the reduced density operator equations for the systems. The relations between this approach and that based on time dependent projectors is discussed. An equation describing the effects of dynamical correlations is derived.
