Abstract
We have grown on a Cu(100) substrate epitaxial Co-monolayers separated by Cu. When the thickness of the Cu-spacer is increased, we observe the magnetic coupling between the Co-monolayers to change from ferromagnetic to antiferromagnetic and back to ferromagnetic before vanishing.
