  2. Im Integritätsbereich Γ(x) der Polynome in einer Unbestimmtenx über dem Ring der ganzen Zahlen Γ ist das Ideal (p, x), wop eine Primzahl ist, kein Hauptideal. Bekanntlich gilt aber in Γ(x) der Zerlegungssatz.

  3. J[x] ist der Polynomring in der Unbestimmtenx über J.

  4. Der Primintegritätsbereich ist nämlich im Falle einer Primzahlcharakteristik ein Körper und im Falle der Charakteristik 0 zum Hauptidealring Γ der ganzen rationalen Zahlen isomorph.
