12. Handnaht versus/sive Maschinennaht aus der Sicht Österreichs

Summary

A general inquiry was made at surgical units and university clinics in Austria about the anastomosis techniques used between 1980 to 1985. The result was that in 90.3% the suture was made by hand and in 9.7% by mashine. The first mentioned was performed as double row inverting suture by 66% of our surgeons, and only in 30% as an all-layer suture. The stapler-technique was mostly preferred for the oesophagojejunostomy and the high and lower resection of the rectum. A leakage of the suture line was observed in 3.9% after sewing by hand and in 6.3% after stapeling. The total lethality finally was 1.4% for hand made suture and 1.8% for apparative suture.

Zusammenfassung

Aus der Umfrage an chirurgischen Abteilungen und Kliniken Österreichs geht hervor, dass zwischen 1980 und 1985 die händische Naht in 90,7% und die apparative in 9,7% verwendet wurde. Die zweireihige Nahttechnik wurde bevorzugt (66%), es folgt die Allschichtnaht mit 30%. Die Maschinennaht erfolgte besonders bei der Oesophago-Jejunostomie bzw. hoher und tiefer Rectumresektion. Eine Nahtinsuffizienz trat bei der händischen Naht in 3,9% und bei der apparativen in 6,3% auf. Insgesamt verliefen bei der ersterwähnten 1,4% und bei der zweiten 1,8% tödlich.
