Causality of the quasi-particle pole in strong coupling theories

  • Published:
Zeitschrift für Physik A Hadrons and Nuclei

Conflicting statements on the boundary condition for the causal propagation of quasi-particles are related to a consistency criterion for perturbation theory in strong fields. It is shown, that the two descriptions coincide in the commonly accepted physical region.
