Conclusions

Automatic verification and control systems should be introduced in presently operating rotary kilns, and also those under construction. Work should be continued in order to establish ways and means of automatically checking the temperature in the firing zone, the quality of the finished chamotte, and the quality of the raw material, which will enable the complex automation of chamotte-firing rotary kilns to be effective.
