Conclusions
At the Zaporozhe Refractories Plant they developed the production of dense kaolin refractories (porosity less than 12%) for the shafts of blast furnaces. Mass production of such products is favorable, and should be organized at the Zaporozhe Plant and the Chasov Yar combine. To do this, it will be necessary to equip the department making high-alumina products at the Zaporozhe Plant with powerful presses with a staged pressing cycle, and modern mixing runner mills, and to supply the Chasov Yar combine with sintered grog made from Novoselits kaolin.
