Refractories Aims and scope

Summary

The reconstruction and expansion of the mines of the Semiluki Refractories Factory, according to the basic technical and economic factors, will prove to be very effective. The annual output of refractory clay can be planned at 2 million tons a year.

In 1965–1966, it will be necessary to organize the output and introduction of self-driven automated hydraulic giants and to reject completely the excavator working of overburden.

Full use should be made of the by-products, in particular the sands and sandstones of the Strelitsko-Bakhcheev mine, which will satisfy the demands of industry and agriculture for these materials and improve the technical and economic factors of the mine.
