Device for determining the bucket load of dredger excavators

Conclusions

A small, reliable, and simple device was developed for determining the bucket load of small dredgertype excavators. The device has its own power supply and is thus not affected by noise from a main supply, It can be used on electrically or diesel driven earth-moving machines with dredger-type working elements.

The dynamic characteristics of the device are governed primarily by the angular speed of the working element.
