Refractories Aims and scope

Conclusions

We have demonstrated the possibility of manufacturing high-grade refractories for steel-casting from enriched kaolin from the Kyshtym deposit.

It is essential to organize the enriching of primary kaolins from the Kyshtym, Yelena, Chikmakul' and Poletayev deposits in the Chelyabinsk Oblast', and to introduce them in plants in the Urals and Soviet East for the manufacture of high-wear-resistant kaolin products.
