  • Published:
Refractories Aims and scope

Conclusions

A rapid method was developed for determining metallic iron in electrotechnical periclase in the concentration range 0.001–1.00% with the use of nontoxic reagents.

The method is suitable for determining metallic iron at different stages of the technological process.
