Thermocouple cans for vacuum steel refining plant

Conclusions

Refractory cans were produced for the thermocouples used for the continuous measurement of the gaseous medium of the vacuum chamber of a vacuum steel-refining installation. The mullite—silica cans (Technical Specifications 14-8-116-74) are produced by the Podolsk Refractories Plant and will give reliable service for a period of 1–3 months.
