Conclusions
Even with the limited statical material the investigations conducted made it possible to evaluate equalitatively and quantitatively the influence of the factors of the electrical conditions on wall and roof life of a DSP-100I6 furnace, which makes it possible to predict the length of a furnace campaign and to use the statistical method for development of specific recommendations for increasing the life of the refractory lining. The results of the work show large reserves for increasing lining life as the result of improving operating conditions.
