Summary

The problems encountered in Radiology are concerned with: 1. Organization and constant supervision of technical and methodical factors necessary for optimal bed-side X-ray examinations. 2. Analysis of radiographs in the light of the clinical findings. 3. Special X-ray examinations in the radiological department (angiography etc.). The efficiency of mobile X-ray units is discussed. Specific and nonspecific X-ray symptoms of pathologic conditions of the thorax are illustrated.

Zusammenstellung

Aufgaben der Radiologie sind: 1. Organisation und ständige Überwachung der technisch-methodischen Erfordernisse für eine optimale Durchführung von Röntgenuntersuchungen am Krankenbett. 2. Röntgenbildinterpretation in Kenntnis der klinischen Situation (Integration in das betreuende Ärzteteam). 3. Aufwendigere Untersuchungen an der Röntgenstation (z. B. Angiographie). Im einzelnen werden Hinweise auf die nötige Leistungsstärke mobiler Röntgenapparate und die Einhaltung von Strahlenschutzvorschriften gegeben. Spezifische und unspezifische Röntgensymptome pathologischer Prozesse der Thoraxorgane werden besprochen und demonstriert.
