Study of the interferences when testing gases evolved from chemical systems. A new capillary device

  • Published:
Microchimica Acta Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

A brief review of the interferences encountered when testing gases evolved from chemical systems on the micro or ultramicro scale is given, as are suggestions for solving them. The importance of the selection of a proper releasing reagent is also emphasized. A new general capillary technique for problems where the separation by precipitation of either the component which is being tested for or the interference proves necessary, has been worked out. Typical illustrative methods are presented.
