Cytologische und biologische Untersuchungen über das Verhalten des Mumps-Virus in Affennierenepithelkulturen

Zusammenfassung

Die bei der Vermehrung des Mumps-Virus (Stamm Po) in Affennierenepithelkulturen auftretenden cytologischen Veränderungen werden beschrieben, als deren Charakteristikum die Bildung von Symplasmen und das Auftreten eosinophiler intracytoplasmatischer Einschlüsse angesehen werden können. Diese Befunde werden mit parallel laufenden Untersuchungen über die Virusvermehrung unter Verwendung von Hämadsorption und RDE-Einwirkung verglichen.
