Primary Non-Hodgkin-lymphomas of the stomach

Summary

Between 1980 and 1987 a total of 17 patiens were operated upon in curative intention of the Non-Hodgkin-Lymphoma of the stomach at our surgical department. Ten of these patients were within Ann-Arbor-Stage I, four within stae II/1 and the other three within stage II/2. In six cases we found low-malignant and in the other 11 cases high-malignant tumors. One patient died postoperatively after a myocardial infarction, one female died four months postoperatively in spite of chemotherapy of the disease. 15 patients (94%) are still alive today without any new symptoms of the disease, within a median average observation time of 40.6 months.

Zusammenfassung

Von 1980–1987 wurden an der Chirurgischen Abteilung des Evangelischen Krankenhauses Köln-Kalk 17 Patienten mit einem primären Non-Hodgkin-Lymphom des Magens unter kurativer Zielsetzung operiert. 10 Patienten befanden sich im Ann-Arbor-Stadium I, 4 im Stadium II/1 und 3 im Stadium II/2. 6 Patienten hatten Tumoren mit niedrigem, 11 mit hohem Malignitätsgrad. Ein Patient verstarb postoperativ an einem Herzinfarkt. Eine Patientin mit dem Stadium II/2 erlag 4 Monate nach dem Eingriff trotz Chemotherapie ihrer Erkrankung. 15 Patienten (94%) leben z. Zt. ohne erneute Krankheitsmanifestationen bei einer medianen Beobachtungszeit von 40,6 Monaten.
