Summary
In a preceding paper it had been possible to show that in electron microscopic particle counting by means of the pseudoreplica technique or by direct sedimentation on to specimen grids systematic errors are inherent.
Using radioactive vaccinia virus the data now obtained clearly indicated that in both techniques considerable and strongly varying amounts of the object may be lost when separating the supernatant from the sediment to be counted.
