Summary
The problem noted in the title has been analysed to assess qualitatively the effect of temperature-dependent heat sources (sinks) on the flow and heat transfer. The flow and heat transfer characteristics have been found to depend on the heat source parameter α besides the other parametersG, E, P, m and ω. In Part I the mean parts of the fluid velocity and temperature have been presented and their behaviours discussed in depth. Here in Part II the fluctuating parts of the velocity and temperature and the transient velocity and temperature profiles have been derived and their behaviours discussed in detail along with the amplitudes and the phases of the skin friction and the rate of heat transfer at the wall. In general heat source parameter α has been found to delay the fluid flow reversal present in the case of air and to act as a catalyst (retarding) to the frequency parameter ω in augmenting (diminishing) the amplitude (phase) of the rate of heat transfer at the wall.
Zusammenfassung
Das vorliegende Problem wurde behandelt, um den Einfluß der temperaturabhängigen Wärmequellen (Senken) auf das Stromfeld und den Wärmeübergang abzuschätzen. Die Strömung und der Wärmeübergang hängen vom Wärmequellenparameter α sowie von den anderen ParameternG, E, P, m und ω ab. In Teil I wurde das gemittelte Stromfeld sowie die Temperatur bestimmt. Im vorliegenden Teil II werden die Schwankungsgrößen des Stromfeldes, sowie der Temperatur bestimmt. Genauso werden Amplitude und Phase der Wandschubspannung und der Wärmeübergang an der Wand ermittelt.
Der Wärmequellenparameter α hat grundsätzlichen Einfluß auf die Umkehr der Strömungsrichtung sowie auf Amplitude und Phase des Wärmeüberganges an der Wand.
