7. Die Pankreasangiographie Bedeutung und Indikation in der Chirurgie

Summary

Angiography of the pancreas is the most important of anatomical methods of investigation. With appropriate experience of the special technique and of the diagnostic problems of pancreatic disorders, especially of tumor growth, it is also the most fruitful radiological method. It is a direct method of examination, which allows localization of the tumor or pathological process. It is complementary to other indications for operation, and it will determine the surgical procedures needed.

The indications for angiography of the pancreas should not be defined too narrowly. The procedure carries better risk, if carried out properly, and it has great affirmative value.

Zusammenfassung Von allen morphologischen Untersuchungsmethoden ist die Pankreasangiographie die wichtigste und bei entsprechender Erfahrung mit der speziellen Technik und der Problematik der Diagnostik der Pankreaserkrankungen, besonders den raumbeschränkenden Prozessen, die aussagestärkste röntgenologische Untersuchung. Sie stellt eine direkte Untersuchungsmethode dar, die den Tumor bzw. den pathologischen Prozeß lokalisiert, die Operationsindikation ergänzt und das operative Vorgehen mitbestimmt.

Die Indikation zur Pankreasangiographie sollte keinesfalls zu eng gestellt werden. Das Risiko des diagnostischen Eingriffs ist bei richtigem Vorgehen gering, der Aussagewert hoch.
