Summary
After infection with virulent Hog Cholera virus five precipitation lines were detectable by immunoelectrophoresis of swine pancreas antigen. Three of them were shown to cross-react with a preparation containing Mucosal Disease virus soluble antigen whereas the remaining two lines were unrelated to this virus. The five reactions observed were caused by only two antigens which differ with respect to their serological relationship to Mucosal Disease virus. One of them is separable into three components of different electrophoretic mobility but serological identity. The origin of the antigens is discussed.
