Zum Selbsterleben des Parkinsonkranken

Zusammenfassung

Ist die Forschung sonst dem ontischen Aspekt der Parkinsonkrankheit zugewandt, so liegt dem Verfasser daran, die Aufmerksamkeit auf den pathischen, auf das Selbsterleben zu richten, wie das in fruchtbarer, Weise vorher für das Erleben der Apoplexiefolgen unternommen worden war: als quälend empfunden wird die Etikettierung, die ihm von seiten der Umwelt auf Grund seiner Fassade zuteil wird, einer Etikettierung, die ihn deshalb empfindlich trifft weil sie aus seiner Sicht zwar dem gegenwärtigen Zustand nicht gerecht wird, letztlich aber dem entspricht, was er in stetem Vorausgriff des Drohenden für die Zukunft uneingestandenermaßen befürchtet. Ist das Selbsterleben des Apoplektikers von einem Crescendo erfüllt, oft im Gegensatz zu dem, was an Restitution noch möglich ist, so das des chronisch Parkinsonkranken von einem Decrescendo in paradoxer ängstlich-eigensinniger Abwehr einer negativen Wertung, die solcher Tendenz voreilig Recht gäbe. Eine solche auf den pathischen Aspekt ausgerichtete Betrachtungsweise kann psychotherapeutischen Bemühungen zugute kommen.

Summary

While other investigations are concerned with the ontic aspect of Parkinson's disease, the author aims at calling to one's attention the pathic aspect, the selfexperience of states following apoplectic fits. The pain is felt which is caused by the discrepancy between what the patient believes he is capable of doing and the label he is attributed by his environment according to his outer appearance. This label is a source of grief for him because, from his point of view, it does not render, justice, indeed, to the present state and because it corresponds definitely to what he is unconsciously afraid of it will happen in the future, anticipating constantly the menace. While the self-experience of the apoplectic patient is full of a crescendo, often opposed to the restitution still possible, the self-experience of the patient chronically suffering from Parkinson's disease is full of a decrescendo, in paradoxical, fearful and obstinate defense of a negative evaluation which would too promptly give reason to such a tendency. This way of consideration, aiming at the pathic aspect, may be of use for psychotherapeutic endeavors.

Tandis que les autres recherches s'occupent de l'aspect ontique de la maladie de Parkinson, il s'agit pour l'auteur d'appeler l'attention sur l'aspect pathique sur l'auto-expérience, comme il a été entrepris auparavant d'une manière très fertile, pour l'auto-expérience des suites apoplectiques. On sent le tourment de la discordance entre ce dont le patient se croit capable et l'étiquette que l'ambiance lui attribue d'après sa façade. Cette étiquette lui fait mal parce que, en effet, de son point de vue, elle ne rend pas justice à l'état présent, et parce qu'elle correspond, en définitive, à celui duquel il craint, inconsciemment, en anticipant constamment la menace, qu'il ne vienne à l'avenir. Tandis que l'auto-expérience du patient apoplectique est remplie d'un crescendo, souvent opposé à la restitution encore possible, l'auto-expérience du patient souffrant chroniquement de la maladie de Parkinson est remplie d'un decrescendo, en défense paradoxale, craintive et obstinée De tel mode de considération visant à l'aspect pathique peuvent profiter les efforts psychothérapeutiques.
