Summary

In the present investigations, the attempt was made to separate the haemagglutinin fractions resulting from the action of ether on the influenza virus A2/Sing./1/57, on exchange colums (DEAE cellulose colums).

The results suggest that influenza virus material destroyed by ether gives distinct haemagglutinin fractions on elution from DEAE cellulose colums.
