Abstract

The small-parameter method has been used with Volterra's principle to consider the axisymmetric equilibrium in a viscoelastic plate by the sequential solution of analogous topics in elasticity theory and in the expansion of elementary time functions. A study has been made of how the viscoelasticity affects the state of strain.
