Zusammenfassung

Eine coccale Grünalge, die Korschikoff alsActinochloris sphaerica bezeichnete, wird eingehend nach dem Zellbau untersucht und nachgeprüft. Die polyenergiden Zellen mit bedeutendem Größenwachstum, das besondere Pyrenoid, pulsierende Vakuolen und die behäuteten,Chlamydomonas-ähnlichen Zoosporen rechtfertigen die Aufstellung einer selbständigen Gattung und Familie innerhalb derTetrasporales. Nomenklatorische und systematische Probleme vonRadiosphaera Snow,Macrochloris Korsch. undActinochoris Korsch. werden teilweise gelöst. Es wird festgestellt, daßActinochloris einerseits undRadiosphaera mitMacrochloris andererseits zwei verschiedene Gattungen sind, die zu unterschiedlichen Organisationstypen gehören.
