Zusammenfassung
Die Feinstruktur des Cytoplasmas vonParamecium caudatum undP. aurelia wurde au Hand von Dünnschnitten elektronenmikroskopisch untersucht. Nach Anwendung verschiedener Fixierungen und neuer Kontrastiermigsverfahren ergab sich ein Aufbau aus membranösen, vesiculÄren und granulÄren Elementen, woraus geschlossen werden kann. da\ sich das Cytoplasma der Protozoen im wesentlichen aus den gleichen Struktur-elementen zusammensetzt wie die Zellen höherer Tiere und die Pflanzenzelle. Die Bedeutung dieses Befundes für die bestehenden sublichtmikro-skopischen Strukturtheorien des Cytoplasmas wird erörtert. Besonders bemerkenswert erscheint die Tatsache, da\ die jeweilige mengenmÄ\ige Zusammensetzung des Cytoplasmas aus den oben genannten Elementen au\erordentlich starken VerÄnderungen unterliegen kann. Diese Erscheinung berechtigt zu der Hoffnung, da\ hierdurch an einem experimentell günstigen Objekt wie Paramecium eine Korrelation von Feinstruktur und Dynamik des Cytoplasmas möglich sein wird.
