Zusammenfassung
-
1.
Summary
-
1.
The electrophoretic mobility of MS cells under our experimental conditions was 0.99±0.027 μ/sec/V/cm., that of HeLa cells under the same conditions 0.985±0.028 μ/sec/V/cm.
-
2.
After infection with Coxsackie virus B3 the mobility of the cells is decreased. The strength of this electrokinetic effect depends on the concentration of the virus.
-
3.
Type specific antiserum inhibits these phenomena specifically.
-
4.
Pretreatment of the virus preparations with ultraviolet radiation, formalin or heat weakens or eliminates these electrokinetic effects.
