Dopamine blockade of the thyroliberin-induced cyclic AMP accumulation in rat anterior pituitary

Summary

Effects of dopamine and thyroliberin on the cyclic AMP concentration in the rat anterior pituitary gland were investigatedin vitro. Dopamine by itself had no effect on the anterior pituitary cAMP concentration but inhibited the cAMP-accumulating effect of thyroliberin.
