Summary
Primary SPF pig kidney cultured hog cholera virus strain PAV-1 at passages 28, 135 and 205 was studied for cytopathogenicity in PK cell cultures. No adenovirus, BVD virus or mycoplasma were demonstrated in these cultures although typical cytopathic changes developed. Cytopathic changes recorded were due to hog cholera virus infections.
