Summary
The hemagglutinin of the avian myxoviruses Yucaipa and Bangor show some relationship to each other, although both are unrelated to NDV-Herts. However, the neuraminidases of the three viruses are serologically distinct. The ratio of Nase to HA activity for NDV-Herts, Yucaipa and Bagor was 0.03, 0.38 and 2.28 respectively. No major differences were found in the kinetic properties of the neuraminidases of the three viruses.
