Summary
From our second series of experiments we conclude, that the ECG alterations caused by injection of adrenaline do not depend directly upon the amount of the injected adrenaline, but only upon the degree of the caused blood pressure elevation. According to this degree of blood pressure elevation, the patients produce ECG changes typical of the pressor response group to which they belong, and therefore, these alterations are not individual. The degree of the blood pressure elevation — as we have seen in our previous experiments — depends upon the sensitivity of the neurovegetative system. Therefore, our new results support our previous view, that in the type of ECG alterations produced by adrenaline, the neurovegetative system has a determining role.
