The evaluation of the adrenaline sensitivity test by planimetric method

  • Published:
Acta Neurovegetativa Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

The degree of the adrenaline-sensitivity measured on the basis of the induced highest blood pressure elevation and the planimetry of the areas included by the curves was compared in 100 patients. In 65–85% of the cases the two methods gave corresponding results. — In the other cases the degree of the adrenalinesensitivity was different in the two methods. Up to now there is no sufficient experience to decide which method of evaluation is the better; however, in a few cases it was shown that when in doubt, the planimetry seems to be the more precise method of evaluation.
